General terms and conditions

 

(Hereinafter referred to as „terms and conditions“) of the company of  Michaela Winter, with registered office at Pobřežní 16, Prague 8, Post Code 186 00, Czech Republic,  Company ID: 47599961, (hereinafter referred to as „Provider“) regulate the relationship between the Provider and the User based on the helperbook.eu and www.helperbook.cz internet portals. 

These terms and conditions may be changed or amended on Provider’s discretion anytime.   

1.     Definitions

  1. Web portal: internet web page: eu, www.helperbook.czUser: each and every natural persons that register as Supplier or Client 
  2. Provider:the company specified above  
  3. User – Firm: natural persons or legal entity that created an profile in order to contact more users and to perform activities listed in its Trade Certificate
  4. Profile: personal data entered by User upon registration
  5. Supplier: natural person that registers at the web portal by filling in its profile and offers its service
  6. Client: natural person that registers at the web portal by filling in its profile and demand service
  7. Service: it means service offer for families and homes such as cleaning, laundering, ironing, shopping, cooking, sewing, repairing clothes, gardening, crafts, caring for children, remedial classes, accompanying children to school and kindergartens, caring for elderly people, and other home and household-related service.

 

1.     User’s registration  

  1. Upon registering on the web portal, users are obliged to provide true and correct data. They are obliged to keep the data in their Profiles up to date in case of a change.
  2. Users may log in only with their user names, i.e. they may have only one Profile.
  3. User-Firms are obliged to register at the following email address: info@helperbook.eu and they shall arrange personalised terms and conditions. Should they fail to comply with this regulation and should they create a standard profile for common users and use such profile for their commercial purposes, the Provider shall be entitled to charge contractual penalty of CZK 10,000 OR EUR 400.
  4. Each profile shall be assigned to one user only, i.e. it is prohibited to use one profile by several persons or to hand over to third parties contact details collected by Users based on their membership. Such contact details shall comprise mainly phone number, email address and photo of other users and they shall be considered strictly confidential. Should users fail to comply with this regulation, the Provider shall be entitled to charge users with contractual penalty of CZK 250 OR EUR 10 for each and every contact handed over to third parties.
  5. The Provider cannot be held liable for the correctness and truthfulness of data and he waives any liability for such data. In parallel, the Provider cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage inflicted by publishing such data on the web pages.
  6. The access to user accounts is secured by user name and password. Both User and Provider are obliged to keep confidential the information needed to access the user account.
  7. The Provider cannot be held liable for password abuse.
  8. As for lost passwords, the Provider shall generate new password and send it to the address provided by the respective user.
  9. Provider is authorised to check the information content and to request profile modification or to delete data should the information content and used photos contradict the service and the purpose of the web pages.
  10. Provider may delete or block a Profile if the User provides information that contradicts the general code of ethics, information with sexual implicit meaning or information on third parties without their knowledge.
  11. Users must be aged over 16 years.
  12. The Provider cannot be held liable for the quality of service delivered by the Suppliers as well as for any damage inflicted by the service provided.

 

Personal Data

  1. Users agree with the Provider processing their personal data for the purpose of rights and obligations arising from the intermediation between the Provider and Users, rights and obligations arising from the service intermediated among the Users as well as for the purpose of the user account maintenance.
  2. Users agree with the Provider processing the following personal data: first and last name, address, identification number, tax identification number, electronic communication address, phone number and date of birth.
  3. Users confirm that the personal data provided are accurate and that they were informed that the personal data are provided voluntarily and that they are obliged to inform the Provider about any personal data changes without undue delay. 
  4. Suppliers provide their consent with publishing Clients’ references.
  5. Suppliers provide their consent with publishing Clients’ references.
  6. Users are aware that their name, age, photo and advertisements are traceable by internet search engines. 

Payment Conditions  

All prices are on the Pricelist tab.

Users may purchase 3-month membership for CZK 250.

The membership includes:

  • unlimited access to the database
  • support via phone, email or skype
  • advisory centre of the 1st household service centre
  • one own advertisement for free
  • access to  documents available for downloading

 

Users may purchase 6-month membership for CZK 450. 

The membership includes:

  • unlimited access to the database
  • support via phone, email or skype
  • advisory centre of the 1st household service centre
  • five own advertisements for free
  • access to  documents available for downloading

 

  • Users shall gain access to the database or be able to post own advertisements after paying the membership fee by GoPay.
  • Provider shall issue an invoice and email it to the User electronically to address provided by the User.

 

Cancelling registration, terminating data display, complaints handling

  1. Membership or data display  may be terminated  easily by emailing the application to: info@helperbook.eu
  2. Complaints shall be emailed to info@helperbook.eu . It is possible to withdraw from the contact within 14 days without providing any reasons as long as the User did not contacted any other users and neither downloaded nor copied any files available for downloading.

  4. The Provider cannot guarantee that users will a suitable contact on the Helperbook.eu web pages.

Monitoring cookies

  1. Users agree with storing so called cookies on their computers. Should it be possible to register at the web page and meet the provider’s obligations without storing cookies on user’s computer, users are entitled to withdraw their consent pursuant the preceding sentence any time.

Final Provisions

  1. Should the relation between the User and Provider comprise an international (foreign) element, the parties agree that the relationship shall be governed by the Czech Law.
  2. Is or should any of the provisions herein become void or ineffective, the provisions with the most similar sense shall replace the void or ineffective provisions. Void or ineffective provisions shall have not effect on other provisions.
